Thank you very much to everyone who has booked tickets for tomorrow’s Big Draw at the Barber Institute. There are still tickets available at the Barber Institute, The Bournville Community Hub and online via the Busy Parents Network Facebook page.
Very sadly, author-illustrator James Mayhew has been taken into hospital so won’t be able to join us tomorrow.
But we’re delighted to say that dad on the Network and amazing actor and theatre producer Jake Oldershaw of Untied Artists has very kindly stepped in to take James’ place, so the show will go on!
Jake will be dressed in Russian costume playing the part of composer Mussorgsky based on James Mayhew’s script. Local children’s illustrator Kate Hindley will paint live on stage to music for the children.
Thanks to everyone for all your support for this event and for your understanding about the change of plan.
It’s going to be an amazing event and we really look forward to welcoming everyone tomorrow!
